MatSing Code of Ethics

Code of Conduct/Anti-Corruption policy

Employees must avoid any situation that may involve a conflict or the appearance of a conflict between personal interests and the interests of the Company. Such situations include, but are not limited to acceptance of gifts, free services, entertainment or similar favors, bribes, kickbacks, payments, loans or gratuities from an actual or prospective client or vendor. At the discretion of office management, gifts which exceed a token or nominal value may be returned to the vendor or supplier in question, or may be made available to all employees in the office as determined by office management.  A meal with a vendor, which is paid by the vendor, is acceptable if it is of reasonable cost and occurs infrequently.

Employees must never provide gifts or entertainment intended to improperly influence any person’s business judgment or that might create the appearance of undue influence. It is never permissible to give currency as a gift.

Employees must not engage in any forms of illegal or inappropriate activity, including corruption, extortion, embezzlement or bribery.

In conducting international business, employees are required to comply with all applicable U.S. laws, executive orders, and regulations including the U.S. Export Administration Act, the Export Administration Regulations, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the National Defense Authorization Acts, and international laws such as the U.K. Bribery Act and the French Sapin II Law.

Employees must avoid engaging in any activity that would create an actual or apparent conflict of interest regarding their work for MatSing. A conflict of interest exists when any relationships or activities impair, or even appear to impair, your ability to make objective and fair decisions when performing your job. In the event an actual or potential conflict of interest does arise, employees must immediately report this to their supervisor and HR representative.
